The Leadership Seminar Workshop was held at the Little Theatre from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on August 24, 2013 with the theme, “Leadership: Translating Vision Into Action”. This was organized by the Bloomfield Academy Student Council headed by its moderator, Ms Thelma O. Marquez. The seminar provided a forum for the 65 club and class officers from grade 4 to high school 4 to examine the increasingly important role of leaders in the pursuit of the vision-mission of the school. The seminar was conducted by Ms. Rose Anne A. Pamittan, an alumna of Bloomfield Academy, Batch 2005 . This was started by an opening prayer led by Luis Angelo Y. De Gala, BASC Vice President which was followed by the welcome remarks of the BASC President, Katreena D. Mendoza and the Inspirational Message of our Principal, Ms. Elsie T. Torreno. The seminar was divided into two sessions, the first was the talk on The 23 Characteristics of A Good Leader which was immediately followed by an individual activity entitled “The Bicycle Test” (Determine One’s Role in a Team). The 2nd session was the talk on Initiative and Empowerment with “Power Tower” (The Importance of Listening and Understanding) as group activity and the last task was the Importance of Communication with Fishing Activity (Team work and collaboration) as the final team work. Experiences and outputs were discussed by the different teams and evaluation of the said activities were done. Energizers/Ice breakers in between sessions were facilitated by Georgia Alexandra S. Roxas (BASC Auditor), Maria Victoria B. Reccion (BASC Treasurer), Miguel Angelo A. Paz (BASC Peace Officer), Aldryan Cres J. Lumhod (Benevolence) and Michael Brent D. Apolinar (Benevolence). The seminar ended with a closing prayer led by Kenn Aldrin D. Orocio and Patricia Aisel G. De Guzman (BASC 4th Year Level Representatives).
