Parent-Teachers’ Level Meeting

A Grade 5 level meeting was conducted last November 10, 2018, under the supervision of the class adviser, Sir Richard R. Santa Cruz at the All-Purpose Room from 8:00 to 10:00 am. This event involved the parents and some of the faculty members for the purpose of discussing some curricular and co-curricular matters. In relation to this, the meeting created an open bridge for the parents to fully know the status of the class and other pertinent aspects to work with.

Ms. Erlinda P. Juan, principal, formally opened the meeting with a welcome address and eventually elucidated the rationale of the meeting and its objectives in line with parent-teacher academic partnership. In addition, Sir Justin Angelo P. Bron, assistant adviser, talked about the strengths of the class based on the general observation of the level teachers. The presentation of evaluation covered the academic, attitudinal, and social aspects.

On the other hand, Sir Richard R. Santa Cruz presented some important areas that parents and teachers can work truly with.

Sir Jose B. Nabaza, academic coordinator, spearheaded the discussion about the curriculum goals and instructional objectives of Performance Tasks. He also elaborated the performance tasks for the quarter and their respective schedules.

Sir Sotero O. Malayao Jr., investigatory project consultant, extended his commendation to the parents for an excellent performance of the class in making an investigatory project. Furthermore, he proposed some plans to fully intensify the love of science and research among the pupils.

The last part of the meeting was an open forum that enabled the parents and teachers to discuss academic and co-academic concerns. The forum was smooth sailing and concerns were raised in a friendly manner. There was a good exchange of conversation and it ended successfully.

Parents extended their sincerest appreciation for what Bloomfield Academy has been doing to fully bring out the best in their children. They also commended the teachers for providing excellent academic instruction and cooperative learning activities that children enjoy the most.

Indeed, a collaborative partnership between parents and teachers contributes a lot in enhancing Bloomfield as a Paragon Center for Science and Technology.
