Bloomfield Academy’s Senior High School Curriculum is aligned with the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 and the K to 12 program. The curriculum is focused on providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare them for their future academic and career pursuits.
Bloomfield Academy Senior High School Curriculum
The Bloomfield Academy Senior High School Curriculum aims to provide students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges of higher education and the workforce. Through a combination of academic and practical learning, students are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen field.
The Senior High School curriculum at Bloomfield Academy offers Academic tracks and strands that students can choose from based on their skills, values, interests, and personality.
The strands offered at Bloomfield Academy are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management). These tracks provide students with specialized knowledge and skills in their chosen field.
As mandated by the DepEd curriculum, Core and Applied subjects are offered to all SHS students regardless of the chosen strand. The Core subjects include Oral Communication, Personality Development, Understanding Culture Society and Politics, Reading & Writing, 21st Century Literature from the Philippines and the World, Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions, Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik sa Wika at Kulturang Pilipino, Pagbasa at Pagsusuri ng Iba’t Ibang Teksto Tungo sa Pananaliksik, Health-Optimizing Physical Education (HOPE), General Mathematics, Statistics and Probability, Earth and Life Science (for ABM and HUMSS strands), Earth Science (taken instead of Earth and Life Science for those in the STEM Strand), Physical Science (for ABM and HUMSS strands) and Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction (taken instead of Physical Science for those in the STEM Strand).
The Senior High School Applied subjects include: English for Academic and Professional Purposes, Practical Research 1 & 2, Filipino sa Piling Larangan, Inquiries, Investigations and Immersions, Empowerment Technologies (for the Strand), and Entrepreneurship.

Bloomfield Academy Juniors-Seniors Promenade 2023
Author: Cayla Danielle F. Santa CruzThe most awaited Juniors-Seniors Promenade happened at The Grand Ballroom of Acacia Hotel on March 31, 2023, Friday. The JS Prom was an opportunity for students to hone their skills in socializing and mingling in a formal setting with friends, acquaintances, and schoolmates from Grades 9 to 12. To learn precise and appropriate table manners and improve social skills, the JS Prom must be an experience that students should anticipate in high school life. The Candle Ceremony of the Juniors and Seniors captured the beauty of the event with different portrayals of love and friendship resonating in everyone as the lighting of candles gleamed the entire venue as the Juniors serenaded the Seniors with the song, Can I Have This Dance?, from the hit Disney movie, High School Musical 3, and as the Seniors belt their hearts out with the song, Just Wanna Be With You, also from the hit Disney movie, High School Musical 3. The Turning Over of Key of Responsibility enthusiastically introduced and symbolized the duties and functions laid upon the shoulders of the Juniors as they turn over and step forward to the next level of their academic journey. Louis Ruemry B. Carballo, the Grade 12 Class President, led a moving Bequeathal Address as he turned over the key of responsibility to Rhoan Marie P. Morales, Grade 10A Class President, and Raphaign Cedric G. Sare, Grade 10B Class President who then received these responsibilities with their Acceptance Speech.
Bloomfield Academy Intramurals 2023
Authors: Clysley R. Dayauon & Monique A. SevillaOn February 22, the Intramurals of S.Y. 2022-2023 finally took place at Bloomfield Academy. All high school students were tasked to play for their sections, and each had different sports to participate in. The first day went off without a hitch, with the parade of each team, including Grade 7 Forbeasts, Grade 8 Savannah Tigers, Grade 9 Uprightbulls and Uprightzebras, Grade 10 Integrifox and Integriuars, Grade 11 Veratallions, and Grade 12 Ursa Majustice. On the first day, both the first and second major events took place: Mr. and Ms. Intramurals and the Cheerdance Competition. Each team showed how loudly they could cheer for their own, and the fighting spirit of each team shone through. After that, the Lighting of the Torch and the Oath of Sportsmanship, and the Ceremonial Toss of the First Ball took place, officially starting the Intramurals Games. The games lasted from February 22-23 and 27, with the last day being the day of all events’ finals and the announcement of winners. All those who won received their medals and trophies, from the Best Intrams Logo and Signature Dance to the Overall Champion. Everyone received their well-deserved recognition as the event came to an end.Grade 12 – Swimming
Aquatics is a part of Bloomfield Academy’s Health-Optimizing Physical Education (H.O.P.E) for Grade 12 students. Swimming classes were held at BF Resort Village Clubhouse on specific dates from April to June. The classes were designed to teach students fundamental swimming skills, build their physical fitness and endurance, and improve their self-confidence and self-esteem. The objective was to highlight the importance of swimming as a life skill that benefits them physically and psychologically, especially in times of natural disasters.
