The annual Poem Recitation Contest at ALPPS ignited the stage with poetic brilliance last November 15, 2024. Students mesmerized the audience with their lyrical prowess, rhythmic words, and passionate performances.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Simon Alonzo R. Montero for securing Third Place. His heartfelt delivery and poetic finesse captivated the audience. We commend all participants for their exceptional performances.

The week commenced with the Monday Assembly at Bloomfield Academy. The assembly began with the Flag Ceremony, followed by an engaging Science Monday Trivia session that delved into the fascinating world of animal eyes.

The assembly recognized our students’ exceptional achievements. Those who excelled in various ALPPS and ASMEPS competitions were acknowledged. Additionally, our Kindness Agents were honored for their compassionate acts, highlighting the school’s emphasis on character development.

Our English Month Launch on November 5th, 2024, was a spectacular success! The event kicked off with a vibrant book parade, where students proudly showcased their favorite books, followed by the exciting announcement of upcoming contests like the Spelling Bee and different classroom events. The highlight of the day was the gamified Book Trivia, which brought out the competitive spirit and love for reading in everyone—truly an unforgettable start to this month of literary celebration!

Last October 29, 2024, Bloomfield Academy proudly celebrated the values that define us during our Most Mary-Like Awarding Ceremony, held in honor of Rosary Month. A truly inspiring experience! On October 19, 2024, our students took part in a meaningful Recollection, stepping away from their busy routines to reflect and deepen their spiritual lives. Through guided reflections, prayer, and interactive activities, the event encouraged everyone to strengthen their relationship with God, trust Him through life’s challenges, and foster a spirit of teamwork and unity. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of prayer and dedication in everything we do—thank you to all who participated!

November 4th was truly a day to remember at our school! We kicked off the day with our Kindness Agents spreading positive vibes and inspiring everyone to make kindness a daily habit. Then, our students dove deep into the wonders of science with a fascinating Science Monday on Auxin, exploring how this plant hormone influences growth and development. The day ended with a well-deserved celebration as we proudly awarded our brightest minds for their Academic Excellence, honoring their hard work and dedication. What a remarkable day of learning, kindness, and achievement!

Yesterday, our school community came together in an incredible display of compassion during the donation drive for the victims of Typhoon Kristine. With overflowing boxes of clothes, food, and essential supplies, our students, teachers, and parents, truly showcased the spirit of unity and generosity that defines us. A heartfelt thank you to the BA Student Council, headed by Adelaide T. David with their moderator, Ms. Thelma O. Marquez, the Red Cross Council, and everyone who participated—your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of those in need! God’s blessing be upon all of you a hundredfold.

Last Monday’s assembly kicked off with our flag ceremony, setting the tone for a day of learning and community. As part of Science Monday, students learned about the fascinating role of osteocalcin in memory, adding an exciting twist to our morning. Grade 12 students also took the spotlight, giving a sneak peek of their entrepreneurship skills through their Filipino food booths—Mamang Kainan, Be Saya, and MindaWow—that are set to delight us in their culminating activity soon. The BA Student Council also launched a donation drive to extend a helping hand to those affected by Typhoon Kristine, inviting everyone to join us in supporting our fellow Filipinos in need.
